Professional Bio
My interests are primarily at the intersection of post-colonial criticism and queer theory. I'm interested in queer Weimar Germany, Stonewall-era U.S., and Hispanophone and Francophone Caribbean literature. I'm interested mainly in 20th-Century Homophile movements in the U.S. and Germany. One of the main questions my research interrogates is how Western notions of queer and gay rights rhetoric translate into Global South contexts, particularly in the Caribbean.
