Megan Kennedy

Professional Bio

I am a second-year dual PhD student in Political Science and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Penn State University, with a focus in American Politics. Prior to beginning my graduate studies, I received a B.A. in Political Science and History in May 2018 from Penn State University.

My research focuses on both gender and state politics, particularly in executive offices and statewide elections. I am especially interested in the role that gender plays in gubernatorial elections.
