Her graduate work explores how socially constructed identities complicate barriers and opportunities for growers and connect to broader institutional inequities that perpetuate these problems. Hannah is the founder and coordinator of the Female Farmer Photovoice Project, a community-based, participatory research project that invites participants to use and photography and written narratives to represent and reflect on their experiences as women farmers, growers, food activists, and agricultural educators.
