The Sara Woods Graduate Fund in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies: Outstanding Graduate Student Award

The Sara Woods Outstanding Graduate Student Award recognizes excellence in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies scholarship. Students must be enrolled in the WGSS dual-title doctoral program to be eligible for the award. (Minors are not eligible.) Self-nominations are welcome. Applications should include:

  • A 1–2 page statement from the applicant that addresses the way in which Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies research has shaped their scholarship
  • Two letters of recommendation that focus on the applicant’s research
  • A current CV

Applications are due TBD. Please submit all materials in pdf form (except recommendations) to  Please ask your letter writers to send their recommendation directly to the same email address, preferably as an attached document.
