Professional Bio
As a dual-title student in both Communication Arts and Sciences and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Oliver locates their research in both more-than-human rhetorics and trans studies. They are especially interested in embodiment and affect, art and aesthetics, trans ecologies, and mushroom and plant communication. They have taught several styles of collegiate debate, Fundamentals of Oral Communication, Effective Speech, and Argumentation, and they have served as a TA for Transgender Communication Studies.
