Professional Bio

Amanda Scott is Assistant Professor of History and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Dr. Scott is a social and cultural historian of early modern Iberia and the Spanish world.  Her research and teaching areas include late medieval and early modern Europe, the Reformations, Golden Age Spain, the Iberian Atlantic world, women’s and gender history, and religious history.
