John Christman is director of the Penn State Humanities Institute and professor of philosophy, political science and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies. Christman’s areas of specialization are: contemporary social and political philosophy; moral theory; figures in the history of political philosophy; and feminist social and political philosophy.
