Maureen Fielding is associate professor of English and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies at Penn State Brandywine. Her scholarly interests include the impact of trauma; post-colonial women’s literature (especially writings of Bessie Head, Anita Desai, Le Ly Hayslip); creative writing; Cold War literature, and representations of Japanese military sexual slavery.
