Dr. Wanjiru Kareithi is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the College of Arts and Architecture at Pennsylvania State University, where she focuses on advancing social justice and fostering inclusive leadership. With over a decade of experience as a human rights lawyer, she is dedicated to promoting inclusion, advocating for marginalized communities, and addressing systemic barriers through research, policy reform, and education. Her work bridges the gap between academia and practice, emphasizing antiracist principles, women's rights, and transformative leadership in higher education and industry.
Dr. Kareithi holds a Doctorate in Law, a Master of Laws degree in International Law from the UK and is also an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She leverages her expertise in her roles as a consultant attorney, educator, and collaborator in global initiatives for more inclusive institutions.
