Professional Bio

Maggie Gordon Froehlich is associate director of academic affairs and associate professor of English and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies at Penn State Hazleton. Froehlich’s research interests include American literature and culture; Modernism; gender and sexuality studies; gay/lesbian/queer studies; women writers; Louise Gluck; F. Scott Fitzgerald; William Faulkner; studies in popular culture, including crime/detective genres in fiction, film, and television.
