Professional Bio
Maggie-Rose Condit-Summerson (she/they) is an interdisciplinary artist/educator whose current work focuses on the intersections of reproductive justice, digital cultures/technologies, and feminist art pedagogies. Condit-Summerson is currently a Teaching Postdoctoral Fellow at Penn State University, where she earned a dual-title doctoral degree in WGSS and art education in 2024. Additionally, Condit-Summerson earned an MFA in Visual Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon, and her studio practice investigates the relationships between the virtual and the visceral, exploring queer embodiment, constructions of femininity, and conspicuous consumption in digital culture.
