Professional Bio

Maria Truglio is Professor of Italian and Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies. Dr. Truglio’s research interests include Italian literature from the nineteenth century to the present; children’s literature; women's writing; and critical methodologies, especially psychoanalysis and post-structuralism.
