Please join us in congratulating Manini Samarth, associate teaching professor of English and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies, on the publication of her new collection of short fiction, Being Here, which was selected the prose winner in the University Press of Kentucky’s New Poetry and Prose Series. These stories explore what it means ‘to be’ in the everyday lives of immigrant women and girls.
