Cruz wins The Alan Bray Memorial Book Prize

WGSS Professor Ariane Cruz has won The Alan Bray Memorial Book Prize given by the GL/Q Caucus of the MLA for her book, The Color of Kink: Black Women, BDSM, and Pornography (NYU Press, 2016). This prize is given for an outstanding book in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer studies in literature and cultural studies. Congratulations Ariane!!!
