Professional Bio

Corinne Lajoie is a PhD student in Philosophy and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her main areas of research are phenomenology, feminist philosophy, and disability studies (esp. the relation among notions of embodiment, sense, difference and resistance). Her research has been published in Hypatia: A Journal of Feminist Philosophy and Symposium: Canadian Journal of Continental Philosophy. In 2020, she will be co-editing a special issue of Puncta: Journal of Critical Phenomenology on critical phenomenologies of illness, madness, and disability.
